Isopoda "Shiny Gator" are a beautiful species known for their smooth, glossy appearance that gives them their common name. In my experience, they spend a fair amount of time beneath cover but can frequently be found exploring the enclosure, especially around feeding areas and during periods of higher humidity. While they aren't as consistently visible as some of my Laureola species, they are active enough to make regular appearances. Their unique shine and distinctive look make them a rewarding species to keep and a standout addition to any collection.
