About

Cubaris "Thai Spiky" are a unique species prized for their heavily textured, spiky appearance. In my experience, they are surprisingly visible and spend a good amount of time out on the surface exploring the enclosure, especially around food sources and moss. While they still appreciate plenty of cover and a consistently humid environment, they are often easier to observe than many other Cubaris species. Their distinctive look and regular activity make them a standout species and a favorite among collectors seeking something a little different.

One particularly exciting observation from my colony is that some offspring have developed a noticeable orange coloration. While it is still too early to know whether this trait will prove stable, it has the potential to become an interesting future morph worth keeping an eye on as the colony develops.
