About

Armadillidae "Qilin" are an impressive species known for their armored appearance, large size, and unique coloration. In my experience, they are often visible throughout the enclosure and spend a good amount of time exploring leaf litter, bark, and food sources. Despite their robust appearance, they have proven to be fairly straightforward to care for when provided with a humid environment and plenty of natural cover. Their combination of size, visibility, and distinctive look makes them one of the most eye-catching species in my collection and a fantastic display isopod.
